The History of Aisha Project School

A man named Boniface Mukulamwa had a vision for young children. He thought of
putting up a community school to help the children.

At the time, there were no Government schools in the compound of Ng'ombe in Lusaka. There was only one community school and children had to walk to far away Government schools. In 1995 4th September, the community school was opened and it is run by committee members together with the teachers.

The school relies on a mixture of fees and donations.

These pictures show Mr Boniface Mukulumwa (School Director) is providing some kit bags of exercise books to pupils. Each kit has 4 books, 2 pencils, 1 ruler, 1 big rubber and 1 packet of crayons of 12 sticks.

These materials were donated by MCC in April 2006.
